Benarasi in soft silk is a saree made using a combination of pure Katan silk and the Benarasi weaving technique. The result is a soft smooth texture with intricate zari work. The master weavers use Mughal-inspired designs/elements such as intricate floral and foliate motifs and flowers and in thi case minakari work to enhance the work. This beautiful teal blue saree has a intricately designed Palla and wide border in a matt zari finish. The small flower motifs scattered across the base along with the border and palla has minakari work done adding to the glamour quotient.
